Who are FIS Integrated Solutions?

We're a Liverpool-based security installation company serving domestic and commercial customers across the North West. We've been installing CCTV, intruder alarms, fire alarms, and access control systems since 2010. Our engineers are fully trained, and we're SSAIB certified with police approved status.

Are you SSAIB approved?

Yes. FIS Integrated Solutions is SSAIB (Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board) certified. This is one of the most recognised accreditations in the UK security industry. It means our installations meet the required standards, and we can issue police Unique Reference Numbers (URN) for alarm response.

What areas do you cover?

We cover Liverpool, Merseyside, Wirral, Cheshire, Chester, Warrington, St Helens, Wigan, Manchester, Preston, and the wider North West. If you're unsure whether we cover your area, call us on 0151 521 4543 and we'll confirm.

Are you a local company?

Yes, we're based in north Liverpool and have been operating locally since 2010. You'll deal directly with our team, not a national call centre. Our engineers are local, our response times are fast, and we're accountable.

Pricing & Quotes

How much does a CCTV system cost?

It depends on the number of cameras, the type of system, and the complexity of the installation. A basic 2–4 camera domestic system typically starts from a few hundred pounds. Commercial systems vary widely. We provide free, no-obligation quotes. Contact us and we'll give you a fixed price before any work starts.

How much does a burglar alarm cost?

A standard wireless intruder alarm for a 3–4 bed home typically starts from a few hundred pounds installed. Larger properties, more zones, or monitored systems cost more. We'll always give you a clear, itemised quote upfront, no surprises on the invoice.

Do you offer finance or payment plans?

Yes. We offer leasing and rental options on all our security services. This means you can spread the cost rather than paying upfront. Ask us about this when you get in touch and we'll explain the options available to you.

Is there a call-out charge?

For faults covered under warranty, no. For out-of-contract call-outs, we'll advise on any charge before we attend. We'll never send an engineer without being clear about costs first.

Installations & Process

How long does an installation take?

A standard domestic alarm installation typically takes 2–4 hours. CCTV systems for a home are usually complete in a half-day. Larger commercial installations are scoped individually. We'll give you a clear timeframe when we quote so you can plan around it.

Will your engineers make a mess?

We take care with every property we work in. Cables are run neatly, any drilling is kept to a minimum, and we clean up fully before we leave. If there's a specific concern about a surface or area, tell us when we visit and we'll work around it.

Do I need to be home during the installation?

For domestic installations, yes, someone needs to be present. For commercial installations, we'll arrange access with whoever is responsible for the site. We always confirm appointment times in advance and aim to stick to them.

What happens after installation, do you just leave?

No. Before we leave, we run through the full system with you. You'll know how to operate every part of it, how to use the app if applicable, and what to do if something doesn't look right. We don't consider the job done until you're confident with everything.

Maintenance & Aftercare

Do you offer ongoing maintenance contracts?

Yes. We offer maintenance contracts for all the systems we install, and for systems installed by other companies. A contract covers scheduled service visits, priority call-out response, and ensures your system stays compliant. Particularly recommended for commercial premises and schools.

What do I do if my alarm or CCTV stops working?

Call us on 0151 521 4543. If it's within your warranty or maintenance contract, we'll arrange a visit at no extra charge. If you're not currently on a contract, we'll give you a clear cost before we attend. Our out-of-hours number is 0151 521 4543.

Do you service systems you didn't install?

Yes. We carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on security systems regardless of who installed them. If you've moved into a property with an existing system, or your previous installer is no longer available, we can take it over.

Do you work with schools?

Yes, schools are one of our main commercial sectors. We've completed installations for schools across Merseyside and the North West, covering intruder alarms, fire alarms, CCTV, and access control. We understand the specific requirements around safeguarding and site security that schools need.

Can you handle large commercial installations?

Yes. We work across a broad range of commercial sectors including retail, construction, offices, and industrial premises. Larger projects are scoped and managed by a dedicated contract manager who handles everything from survey through to handover.

Do you work outside normal business hours?

Yes. We have an out-of-hours emergency line available 24/7 0151 521 4543. For planned commercial installations, we can schedule work outside business hours to minimise disruption to your operations.
